2026 Week on Water & Eaux Claires Water Street Faire Participation Form

From July 20th - 25th, we're turning Water Street into a weeklong celebration of local businesses, creativity, and community! Join us for an exciting downtown experience designed to drive foot traffic, encourage local shopping and dining, and showcase businesses that make our downtown vibrant and unique.

The week on Water Street will feature a week-long Passport Program and sidewalk activation experience including the Eaux Claires Water Street Faire on Thursday, July 23rd.

The Week on Water Street/Passport Program (Monday, July 20 - Saturday, July 25) is only available to businesses located within the Water Street Business Improvement District (100 - 600 blocks of Water Street).

The Eaux Claires Water Street Faire (Thursday, July 23) is open to any business but priority and discounted pricing will be given to:

• Water Street BID Businesses

• DECI Member Businesses

• Downtown Businesses

• Local Artist and Makers

Businesses located within the Water Street Business Improvement District are invited to participate through the following opportunities:

DECI Member Participation - FREE

Current DECI member businesses receive complimentary participation benefits, including:

• Week on Water Street Passport Program participation

• Eaux Claires Water Street Faire vending space

• Opportunity to activate sidewalk spaces in front of your business throughout the week leading up to and during the event

• Promotion of your in-store specials, activities, and promotions through DECI event marketing and social media channels

• Eligibility to participate in the DECI Match Program

DECI Match Program

Participating DECI member businesses may opt into the DECI Match Program:

• DECI will purchase a $25 gift card from your business

• Your business will provide a matching $25 gift card

• Combined $50 prize packages will be awarded to Passport Program participants

Participation in the DECI Match Program is available while funding lasts.

This program helps encourage customer engagement and future visits to participating businesses.

Passport Program Only Participation - $30

Businesses located within the Water Street BID may choose to participate in the Week on Water Street Passport Program without participating in the Sidewalk Activations or the Eaux Claires Water Street Faire for $30.

Passport Program participation includes:

• Inclusion as an official Passport stop

• Listing as a participating Passport location

• Opportunity to encourage in-store traffic and customer engagement during the event

Full Participation - $65

Businesses located within the Water Street BID may participate in both the Week on Water street Passport Program and the Eaux Claires Water Street Faire for $65.

Full participation includes:

• Week on Water Street Passport Program participation

• Opportunity to activate sidewalk spaces in front of your business throughout the week

• Eaux Claires Water Street Faire Vending Booth 10x10

• Promotion of your in-store specials, activities, and promotions through DECI event marketing and social media channels leading up to the event and during the Week on Water

Outside Vendor Participation - $150

Outside vendors not located within the Water Street BID may participate in the Eaux Claires Water Street Faire for $150. DECI members at the Sustainer or Catalyst level participating as outside vendors receive a 50% discount on vendor participation fees.

Vendor participation includes:

• Eaux Claires Water Street Faire vending space during the Thursday event

• Opportunity to engage with event attendees and downtown visitors

Event Sponsorship Opportunities - $100+

Any business, DECI member or non-member, may become an event sponsor.

Sponsors help support event programming, marketing, entertainment, and participant prize packages.

Sponsorship Contribution Requirements

Sponsors contributing $100 or more must provide:

• One gift card equally $50 or more

• Additional products, merchandise, or gift cards at a value of at least $50

Sponsor prizes will be awarded to Passport Program participants.

Sponsors Receive:

• Recognition in event marketing materials

• Social media promotion leading up to the event

• Day-of event recognition

• Increased visibility among downtown visitors and shoppers

Signature Event Sponsorship - $500+

Become a Signature Sponsor of Week on Water Street and The Eaux Claires Water Street Faire and help create one of downtown Eau Claire's premier community experiences.

Signature Sponsors play a key role in supporting an event designed to:

• Drive foot traffic to downtown businesses

• Encourage local shopping and dining

• Increase community engagement

• Showcase the vibrancy of our downtown district

Signature Sponsor Benefits Include:

• Premier logo placement on event marketing materials

• Recognition as a Signature Sponsor in social media promotions

• Featured recognition on event signage

• Business mention in event announcements and promotions

• Complimentary event booth space during the Eaux Claires Water Street Faire

• Opportunity to provide promotional materials or branded giveaways

• Recognition during the event

• Enhanced visibility among downtown visitors, shoppers, and participating businesses

Sponsors may choose to contribute additional gift cards, merchandise, or promotional items to support participant prize packages and community engagement activities.
