Let’s take a day out of our busy schedules to show our local shops how EAU CLAIRE shows up and shows out for our local shops!
The Solstice Stroll event will be held throughout downtown from Phoenix Park to Haymarket Plaza, through Barstow Street and over the Grand Avenue Bridge to Grand Avenue in support of our downtown businesses!
While the event is scheduled to run 11:00AM thru 4:00PM, there will also be live music planned at multiple bars & restaurants into the evening. If you aren’t able to make it for the afternoon, stop down in the evening - it is the longest day of the year, right!?

Get A Passport, Visit Six Participating Downtown Eau Claire Businesses & Be Eligible To Win Prizes!
How do I get a passport?
Passports will be available at The Coven (8AM-4PM Monday thru Friday) starting June 1st through June 20th. Feel free to stop in and grab one leading up to the event!
On the day of The Solstice Stroll, passports will be available at the Farmers Market - look for a DECI volunteer - or at the DECI information tent in the Haymarket Plaza.
How does the passport work?
The passport will be a physical card, similar to a business card. You can grab your passport from one of the locations listed above, then visit six downtown participating businesses! Each business you stop by will then stamp a SUN on your card to show you made an appearance. It is as easy as that! No purchase is necessary, just take some time to check out the shops that appeal to you, and maybe a few you’ve never visited before! Some businesses will have Solstice related activities or giveaways as well.
What do I do with the passport once I have all SIX SUNS stamped?
THE COVEN, which is a stop on the downtown businesses list, will be the drop off location for all completed passports! Swing up to the second floor of the Barstow Commons/US Bank building and there will be a drop off box for you to drop the passport into.
Are there prizes for this Passport deal?
YES! There will be 3-4 prizes that could be won by simply strolling through our beautiful downtown and showing our support for them!
