A week-long series of downtown activations throughout the Historic Water Street District designed to welcome Eaux Claires Festival visitors into Downtown Eau Claire. Businesses can register to participate using the RSVP button below.

Water Street District Activations Include: • Sidewalk merchandise pop-ups • Street busking & live music • Make-and-take art projects • Creative storefront experiences
• Specials and promotions from local businesses Each business will organize its own activation style, creating a walkable and ever-changing atmosphere throughout the week. All promotions and participating businesses will be featured through DECI website and social media promotion. Passport Program Visitors can participate in a downtown “passport” experience throughout the week. How It Works: Participants receive a VIP-style passport badge on a commemorative lanyard Visitors collect stamps/marks from participating Water Street businesses. Completed passports are entered to win: gift cards, prize baskets & Downtown Eau Claire business giveaways. Water Street Faire

Interactive Art Installations
Community Mural
Collaborative mural painting experience led by a local artist. Final piece intended for future downtown display.
Yarn Bombing Installation
Led by local artist Paula Gorski. Participants contribute to a collaborative yarn sculpture using wrapped branches and colorful fiber materials.
Collaborative Doodle Wall
Created by local artist Patricia Hawkenson (Color the Chippewa Valley Coloring Book). Visitors add doodles, notes, and drawings throughout the day.
Envelope Exchange
Interactive kindness installation where attendees leave and receive uplifting handwritten messages.
Drum Circle
Hosted by local musician Lynn Buske featuring recurring collaborative drumming sessions throughout the day.
Public Art Highlight
Brewers Pop-Up Mural Unveiling
Public viewing and unveiling of the new Brewers mural installation on Water Street by local artist Jenna Wood, a major new addition to the district’s growing public art presence.
