The L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library in Eau Claire launched the first of many activities on Tuesday for kids to stay occupied during spring break.
"Once Upon a Time" kicked off the week full of activities. It included activities, specifically for preschoolers, based on fairy tale stories like pinning the kiss on the frog instead of the tail on a donkey. Activities for other age groups are planned throughout the week.
"It's important for the kids to have something to do when they're out of school," Alisha Green, of the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library, said. "It gives families an opportunity to get out of the house, come down to the library, see that we have more things to offer than books and computers and games, but different programs to experience and play together as well."
