Posted: April 29, 2014 Our City Clean-Up Interviews with WEAU and WQOW

This year's Our City Clean-Up is taking place on May 17th!  We are expecting about 400 volunteers to flood the streets of Downtown Eau Claire. The volunteers will be cleaing windows, seeping, picking up trash, and planting flowers. Our volunteers will also be helping clean and organize costumes at the Eau Claire Children's Threatre, while there they will also be performing landscaping tasks. They will help with raking and gardening at the L.E. Phillips Senior Center. Some other places you may see these volunteers around will be at: Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild, and Western Dairyland. Our volunteers will also be prepping the Forest St. Community Gardent and helping to rebuild beds at the North Riverfront Garden.

If this sounds like an event you would like to help out with, we would be more than happy to have you!  Online registration did close today, but walk-ins are always welcome on the day of the event!  To register on May 17th arrive at Valleybrook Church at 8:30 a.m.
