Posted: April 15, 2014 Wisconsin Museums Week at the Chippewa Valley Museum

For the 10th consecutive year the Wisconsin Federation of Museums is sponsoring Wisconsin Museums Week, May 11-17, in conjunction with International Museum Day on May 18.

This exciting week-long celebration focuses on the hard work and positive impact museums have on our communities. 


The Chippewa Valley Museum in Eau Claire’s Carson Park is participating in Wisconsin Museums Week on Sunday, May 18. 

From 1-5 p.m. by offering a Buy One Adult Admission, Get One Adult or Child Free admission special and a free exhibit scavenger hunt.

Regular admission is $5 for adults and $2 for kids ages 5-17; kids under 5 and Museum members are always free.


“Museum Collections Make Connections” is the theme for 2014. To commemorate this week, museums throughout the state will host special events, contests, exhibits, workshops and offer

free or reduced admission.
