What is the International Fall Festival?
The International Fall Festival is a celebration of the Chippewa Valley’s cultural heritage, providing the community an opportunity to learn about the people and cultures that make up West Central Wisconsin. It also promotes downtown Eau Claire as a fun, family destination. The International Fall Festival also serves as a fundraiser for Downtown Eau Claire, Inc. (DECI). DECI is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the development of business, housing, cultural resources, and activities within downtown, the heart of Eau Claire. The festival createsa bazaar-like atmosphere where international food and crafts are available to all visitors. Finally, the festival wouldnot be complete without the Parade of Nations, in which organizations and businesses throughout the areaunite to showcase their roles in the community. Activities in 2013 will be scaled-down and subject to change dueto construction on South Barstow Street.

On behalf of the Downtown Eau Claire, Inc. (DECI) Festivals Committee, I would like to invite you to participate in this year’s Parade of Nations at the International Fall Festival in downtown Eau Claire. The International Fall Festival is scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2013.
The City of Eau Claire is planning for major street construction on South Barstow Street this year. This is going to alter our plans for this year's festival. We are planning a scaled-down version of the festival, with a celebration that will highlight our shiny new street! Construction is scheduled to be complete by Labor Day.
Be creative and have fun incorporating ethnicity into your floats, in your dress, and with items you may pass out. We hope you can be part of the festivities and support downtown Eau Claire. You can also be a part of the first parade on the brand new South Barstow Street!
