This summer Phoenix Park will again welcome the Artist Market of Eau Claire, an extension of the Farmer's Market, that will showcase the work of area artists and crafters every other Saturday of the summer beginning May 18th.
Hosted by Tangled Up in Hue, the Artist Market of Eau Claire came to fruition because of the undeniable abundance of artistic talent in the Chippewa Valley. After surveying both artists and the public, owners Jamie Kyser and Erin Roesler realized that the community would benefit from an event dedicated to promoting both local art and the economy.
Both Kyser and Roesler have high expectations for the second season of the Artist Market. 2012 participating artists and patrons of the market expressed both excitement and appreciation for the newest addition to downtown Eau Claire's unique local events.
The Artist Market is a juried event open to the public and anyone residing in the Chippewa Valley is welcome to apply. Applications can be found at Tangled Up in Hue located on Barstow Street in downtown Eau Claire or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
