This October, the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library in Eau Claire is holding a Pumpkin Painting Contest in addition to a traditional Halloween Storytime!
Children and teens through age 15 are invited to bring a pumpkin they have painted to Youth Services Monday, October 15, through Sunday, October 21. People can also drop in and decorate a pumpkin: Monday, October 15, from 1 through 3 p.m. and Saturday, October 20, as part of Family Storytime beginning at 10:15 a.m.
Stories, songs, and fun activities begin at 10:15 a.m. on Halloween, Wednesday, October 31, in the Eau Claire Room. A costume parade and trick-or-treating through the library will follow. Refreshments will be served.
