Posted: June 13, 2012 Repairs Begin on Graham Avenue
You'll see some orange barrels Downtown beginning this week. Crews from the City of Eau Claire are beginning work on Graham Avenue. Deputy City Engineer Doug Derks says they'll begin concrete repairs on June 13th, and that'll continue the next 3-4 weeks. The work includes repairs to curb and gutters, and sidewalks. Derks says they'll start on the west side of the street. He says that means the west side lane will be partially blocked. Converting Graham and South Barstow streets from their current one-way design into two-way traffic is scheduled for August, sometime after Eau Claire's Summer Fest on August 4th.
