"With the festival, applications started to come in from far coasts, and when we asked candidates why they applied for this job, they said 'I came to Eaux Claires Festival and I love what the city has going on, I love it, I want to be a part of this,'" said Jason Jon Anderson, an Eau Claire native and the production director for the festival. "One would never think that a festival would lead to people relocating, but it's that exposure and experience that does it."
