Businesses on Water Street are coming together in a media campaign to let their customers know that they are still open for business.
The Water Street bridge in Eau Claire closed September 8th for repairs and the department of transportation says the closing has rerouted about 15,000 drivers per day, but area businesses say it hasn't affected them so far.

"We're coming together and creating a website that shows you all that Water St. has to offer. Usually once people come to Water St. and they discover the restaurants that are here and the shops that are here, they come again and again," Mickey Judkins, owner of Details Direct, says.

Lisa Aspenson, owner of Mona Lisa's Restaurant on Water St. knows that having all of the businesses on Water St. involved in the campaign.
"Being in a neighborhood where we are all independent business owners, it's really important that we have an involvement and have each business' personality involved and share that among us in this community."
