Altoona High School to perform Les Misérables at the State Theatre in an Encore Performance

On Wednesday, May 30th, ats Misérables
brought to the stage of the historic State Theatre in Downtown Eau Claire on
Wednesday, May 30th. The curtain will rise at 7:30 PM.
by the Altoona High School Choral Program.
These amazing students will be accompanied by a pit orchestra made
up of talented members of the Chippewa Valley Symphony, the
music community and the UWEC Symphony Orchestra.
This production was first performed at the Altoona
High School in mid‐May. The production was so extraordinary
that members of the community and school wanted an encore
performance to showcase the Altoona School District's
remarkable choral program. In addition, they wished to bring
this moving story to more people in the Chippewa Valley.
The Altoona High School Choir is made up of over 120 students and is directed by Mr. Richard Moses.
With pomp and circumstance, therefore, the Altoona School District is proud to announce an encore
performance of Les Misérables,
