Join us for Summerfest 2011! Get out and enjoy downtown Eau Claire. Have fun, eat food and enjoy local entertainment!

 Mark August 6th on your calendars because you won't want to miss Summerfest!

  10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

  

The Mayo Clinic Health System Kids' Zone

Ride ponies, feed and pet animals at the petting zoo, play on the inflatable rides, and get your hair colored pink and styled into a mohawk or some other crazy hair-do with professional stylists!

  

Festival Foods American Strongman Challenge

Grab a seat in the bleachers and watch in amazement as professional 'strongmen' perform feats like pulling a semi, flipping a 750 lb tire, or pulling an SUV while sitting on the ground! 

  

The HSG/Code Blue Main Stage Entertainment

  Catch local performers from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. strut their stuff on the main stage!  Kids and adults from the Swan Lake Ballet studio, Eau Claire Children's Theatre, AFK Martial Arts Academy, CVTG's Golden Trunk Players, and others will give their shows!  And from 1 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. local bands take the stage to get the crowd going, all culminating with a big 'ole block party!

  

I-94 Family Night in the Park

  Rapunzel and Flynn Rider right out of the movie "Tangled" will be our hosts for a super fun evening at Phoenix Park!  Grab some popcorn as we watch the movie "Tangled," right alongside Rapunzel!  When the movie is done, we'll launch our very own wish lanterns over the river, just like the movie!

 

Burger King Classic Car Show

We'll have a variety of cars lining the streets.. from classics, to new smart cars, and even Tow Mater and Lightning McQueen will visit on the heels of debuting 'Cars 2!'

 

Chalkfest

 Along with the excitment of Summerfest, this Saturday, August 6, also plays host to Volume One's fourth annual Chalkfest.  Artists of all ages overtake the sidewalks of Wilson Park to creat elaborate, large-scale chalk artwork.  Throughout the day, artists will create their work as thousands of visitors watch their drawings come to life.
