Advance Your Asana: Intermediate Backbends

Advance Your Asana workshops are for the yogi that has questions and wants to learn! By making subtle adjustments in your practice, you will experience a newfound perspective both on and off your mat.

Advance Your Asana | Intermediate Backbends builds on our Backbend Foundations Workshop and begins to incorporate the arms overhead in our backbends. It also introduces intermediate backbend poses to improve spinal flexibility and strengthen the backside of the body. Prior experience with backbending is preferred and it is recommend to be comfortable with the poses in the Backbend Foundations workshop before attending.

Intermediate Backbends will cover:
Camel Pose
Bow Pose
Bow Pose Variations
King Pigeon
Dancers Pose
Full King Pigeon
