Go backPosted: August 27, 2012 Business Plan Entrants Looking to Start Businesses Downtown
Congratulations to our eighth annual Jump-Start Award winners! Jeremy Surguy is the grand prize winner for his business plan for "Tablet 23," a brew-on-premise business where people can make their own beer. For 1st place Jeremy was awarded with a $5,000 prize and a $1,500 media package from Charter Cable and DECI.
Vanessa Moessner receives honorable mention for her business plan for "The Lily Pad Lab," a place that will provide families with an area to entertain, stimulate, and educate young minds. Vanessa recieved a $1,000 media package from Charter and DECI.

Look for these businesses to be opening downtown in the months to come. Visit When I'm Sixty-Four that has been open since June and is located at 128 South Barstow Street.
