Eau Claire, Wis. – The City of Eau Claire and Downtown Eau Claire, Inc. will host an open house to continue design on the Haymarket Plaza. The event will be held on Thursday, October 27th from 4:30-8pm, with a presentation at 5:30pm. Two preliminary concepts for Haymarket Plaza have been developed and the City is seeking feedback from the public on the designs before continuing further. The presentation will include a brief overview and history of the project, renderings of potential designs, and opportunities for the public to provide feedback and shape the design.
The event will take place on the first floor of Haymarket Landing overlooking the plaza. Attendees should enter at the corner of Graham Ave and Eau Claire St. The event is free and open to the public. Parking will be available in the North Barstow Parking Ramp, the South Barstow Parking Ramp, and throughout Downtown.
Situated between Haymarket Landing and The Confluence Arts Center in Downtown’s South Barstow District, Haymarket Plaza will be a public space with sweeping views of the rivers and Phoenix Park. The plaza will be the final piece of the Confluence redevelopment project.
