You might not know this, but Downtown Eau Claire, Inc. is an independent 501(c)(6) non-profit organization. As such, we rely everyday on the generous support of the community. In return, we work hard to keep Downtown moving forward and growing.

We would love for you to be a part of this dynamic and engaging organization! Each year we host multiple events, utilizing the time and unique skill sets of hundreds of volunteers. It’s a great way to give back to the Downtown we all love! And our opportunities reach far beyond just our events, with opportunities to join our board, committees the business improvement district (BID) boards.

Committee Volunteers

Downtown Eau Claire is looking for active and engaged community members to work year-round on several committees. Community members work side-by-side with staff to improve operations, and plan and execute projects and major events.

Board Members and Business Improvement Districts

Downtown Eau Claire, Inc. is proud to have an active and committed Board of Directors. Our board includes twenty-one members representing the City, business districts, businesses and greater Eau Claire. We are always searching for individuals with a passion for Downtown and the positive changes that are occurring. Our board is a unique mix of individuals, giving us strong continuity and leadership, coupled with fresh ideas and innovation.

In addition, Downtown has four business improvement districts (BIDs), each managed by a board consisting of property owners, business owners, and community volunteers. Serving on a BID board is a great way to become involved and make an impact with the businesses in your district.
