Get ready to kick-off 2013!

"Jump-Start Downtown" is a business competition for entrepreneurs interested in opening a business in Downtown Eau Claire. This competition is open to any type of business - from hi-tech office services to specialty gift shops.

Grand Prize: Up to $5,000 start-up capital and Media package from DECI

Honorable Mention: Media package from DECI

Innovation Idea Prize: $1000 scholarship to Entrepreneurial Training Program by the Small Business Development Center

Eligibility: Participants must be 18 years of age or older and interested in starting a business in Downtown Eau Claire or relocating a business to Downtown Eau Claire. Participants cannot enter a business already located downtown at the time of entry into the competition. Proposed business must open within 12 months of the competition.

To Enter: Participants must submit an application and a business plan for their proposed business to Downtown Eau Claire, Inc. by June 14, 2013.
