Downtown Eau Claire, Inc. (DECI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the development of business, housing, cultural resources, and activities within downtown Eau Claire.

Our Vision

Downtown Eau Claire, Inc. is the premier civic alliance that creates a vibrant downtown everyone recognizes, appreciates, and enjoys.

DECI Background

DECI was founded in January 2002 as a result of Hyett Palma's study to stimulate our community's downtown. The DECI Board of Directors consists of twenty-one members who represent businesses, neighborhoods, government, and Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) that operate in Downtown Eau Claire. Public meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month at 7:30am. DECI receives funding assistance from the City of Eau Claire, the South Barstow BID, the North Barstow/Medical BID, Water Street BID, West Grand BID, and through the support of its members.
